SA elections always free and fair: Mashatile
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Deputy President Paul Mashatile says that individuals who claim that the ANC is planning to rig the elections are only afraid of losing at the polls.
His comments come after the IEC challenged former president Jacob Zuma to provide evidence to support his claim of bias against the commission.
Mashatile says President Cyril Ramaphosa will announce the election date soon.

He says he has full faith in the country's electoral process.
"Elections in the country have always been free and fair. We know our people will go and cast their vote for the parties of their choice."
Mashatile spoke at the St John’s Apostolic Faith Mission commemoration on Sunday.
