KZN records more than 130k voter registrations

More than 131 431
people in KZN visited ballot stations over the weekend to add their names to
the voters' roll.
That's according to the Independent Electoral Commission, which wrapped up its final voter registration weekend for the upcoming elections on Sunday.
The IEC says more than half a million people came forward to register countrywide.

"For all those citizens who have still not registered for one reason or the other, we encourage them to do so as soon as possible, online or at the office of the municipal electoral officer between now and proclamation day," said IEC chair Mosotho Moepya.
"Those wishing to change their registration details must do so online before the proclamation day. We will provide the nation with a consolidated report for the weekend registration activity on or before Tuesday."
