SA Covid-19 cases now at 73 533

COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 88 more people in the country.

Eighty-two percent of these deaths were recorded in the Western Cape - which is the hardest-hit province.
The other deaths occurred in the Eastern Cape and Gauteng - while KZN has reported zero fatalities this time.

The Health Department has also confirmed 3 540 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

This takes the national infection tally to 73 533.
