SA COVID-19 cases drops, recovery rate increases to 87%

Daily confirmed Covid-19 cases in South Africa have dropped to a little over 8 147, from more than 12 2 00 the day before.
This takes the number of infections to 1 412 986.
Also in the latest 24 hour period, 300 more people have died after suffering coronavirus-related complications.
70 of those fatalities were recorded in KwaZulu Natal.

There are over 48 000 active cases in the province.
Our national death toll's climbed to 40 874.
More than 1 230520 people have beat the virus, taking our recovery rate to 87%.
