Robber killed in suspected mob justice incident in Verulam
Police are urging the public not to take the law into their own hands.
This after a man, accused of stealing a woman's handbag, was killed in a mob attack in Verulam's Parkgate area.
Officers say the man was caught and assaulted by members of the community, after he also allegedly stole a cell phone.

They found a toy gun, believed to have been used to commit his crimes, in his possession.
He died in hospital on Sunday.
