The sporting precinct around Growthpoint Kings Park and Moses Mabhida Stadium will be a hive of activity today.
Both stadiums are hosting important matches on the local sporting calendar. In the first event, the Cell C Sharks are competing against Western Province for the Currie Cup title.
The final gets underway at 4pm at the Shark Tank.
In the second fixture, Amazulu hosts Kaizer Chiefs in theTelkom Knockout football action. That match gets underway at 8.15 tonight. Golden Arrows will also go head-to-head with Orlando Pirates in KwaMashu this afternoon.
Durban Metro Police's Parbhoo Sewpersadh is urging spectators to enjoy themselves responsibly.
"Metro will be conducting roadblocks at some of the major intersection around the city during the event and the after-party. I would suggest guests should arrange a sober driver to drive them home," he says.
