Richmond municipality thrived under Sithole's leadership, says official
The slain Richmond Municipality Manager had won the municipality many accolades proving his dedication and determination.
This according to municipal spokesperson, Sbonelo Bhengu.
Edward Sibusiso Sithole was gunned down near a school on Victoria Street, in the Midlands.
"We are talking about a guy who obtained two clean audits for the municipality and best municipal manager in the ward received in 2014. There was one for best performing community in Richmond. He was the one who made sure we scooped it,"he said.

Further information gathered yesterday revealed that Sithole had gone to the testing grounds to register his new vehicle that he bought two weeks ago.
Sithole left his vehicle where the tar road ends as there are currently on going road works and had returned to his vehicle as he had forgotten his ID book.
Another vehicle had parked next to his and he was gunned down after opening his passenger car door.
