Restaurant where AKA was shot and killed shuts its door
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Durban restaurant Wish on Florida is closing its doors.
Nearly two months ago, rapper Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and his friend Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane were shot and killed outside the establishment.
On the 10th of February, Forbes and a group of friends dined at Wish. They were seen on social media videos toasting and laughing.
Shortly after they exited the restaurant later that evening, Forbes and Motsoane were gunned down.

In a statement on Monday the management of Wish on Florida says since then there's been a severe business downturn - leaving directors with no choice but to close the establishment permanently.
They say the shooting has deeply affected the brand.
The 10th of April will be the establishment's final day of business - when it will host what it calls "The Last Supper".
Management says they are proud to have won the Emerging Tourism Entrepreneur Award at the Durban Tourism Business Awards last year having been in business for 3 years.
