Reservoir Hills construction project to house 78 flood victims
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The Department of Human Settlements in KZN says work's been in progress for the past two months on the Reservoir Hills site, where some of the province's flood victims will be housed.
The department says the site will provide homes to 78 flood victims.
The cost attached to the project has not been determined, with the department saying the rebuilding process involves other housing projects.
The department's Mbulelo Baloyi says the contractor moved on-site in July to clear a thicket and subsequently started the earthworks part of the construction.

Baloyi says the site was handed over to the contractor in August.
"The service provider on site will be briefed on the preparation of platforms for permanent structures upon the completion of platform designs.
"The structures will be a three-storey walk up and presently, detailed planning for the permanent solution is underway."
