Record hike in fuel prices this October
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The Department of Energy has announced a record-high increase in fuel prices for the month of October - with figures averaging at the R1,00 mark.

Petrol increases by R1.00 per litre, diesel - R1.24 per litre while Illuminating paraffin goes up by R1.04 per litre this month.
The Department says the adjustments are due to the increase of international product prices of petrol, diesel and illuminating paraffin - during the period of 1 August to 27 September 2018.
In a statement, it further says the Rand depreciated against the US Dollar during this period.
The changes will kick-off at midnight tomorrow.
