Recent rains improve KZN's dam levels

Some positive news for KZN: Umgeni Water says the recent rains have increased water levels at dams around the province.
The utility's Shami Harichunder says levels at Hazelmere, Midmar, Inanda and Nagle Dam have seen some improvements.

"The full impact of recent rains are now being seen. Overnight, the level of Hazelmere Dam rose by 10%. As of today, the level of Midmar Dam is 72%. Our concerns remain Albert Falls - which is presently it 32%. Inanda Dam has improved by a percent or two," he said.
This comes on the back of news that the Vaal Dam has reached capacity - following recent rains in Gauteng.
