Rape-accused Chatsworth pastor to appear in court

A Durban pastor, who has been accused of the rape of a teenager, will make his first appearance in court on Friday.

Detectives nabbed the pastor during a late-night operation in Chatsworth on Thursday.
KZN police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says officials also seized cell phones and laptops at the man’s home.

"A case of rape is being investigated by Chatsworth FSC unit after a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a known suspect.
"The 31-year-old suspect was arrested on 7 March, and he is appearing before the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court.
