Ballito woman pleads guilty to drowning daughter in bucket
A woman on Thursday pleaded guilty to killing her four-year-old child in Ballito, on the north coast.

She appeared in the KwaDukuza Magistrate's Court.
The mother, who cannot be named to protect the identity of her other child, was arrested two years ago.

She was taken into custody after her daughter was found drowned in a bucket of water.
At the time, she admitted to authorities that the child was difficult and troubling her.
She’s pleaded guilty to a charge of murder.
