Ramaphosa: Criminal complaint ‘politically motivated’

Cyril Ramaphosa says the criminal complaint against him is politically
motivated.

"Some of these things clearly have their own political agenda and we are all aware of that,” he told delegates at the ANC’s Limpopo provincial conference on Sunday.
It was the first time he spoke out since a criminal complaint was laid against him in connection with the theft of a large amount of money from his private farm in Limpopo.

Arthur Fraser, who is a former director-general of the State Security Agency, has accused the president of organising the kidnapping of suspects, their interrogation on his Bela Bela property, and bribery two years ago.
But Ramaphosa said he's never stolen money from the state.
"It will not deter me from fighting corruption because I have never stolen taxpayers money, so therefore I will cooperate with any processes.”
