The province has experienced heavy showers over the past three days which have led to flooding in some areas.
The South African Weather Service's Julius Mahlangu says rain is expected again later in the week.
"We can expect some isolated showers on Saturday especially along the KZN coast and than spreading to the rest of the province on Sunday - just 30% of showers," he said.

Meanwhile the KZN EMS base in KwaDukuza suffered damage due to the recent floods.
Spokesperson Robert Mckenzie says the process of repairing the base is underway.
"Three ambulances were damaged in the flooding as well as the server room which affected the server and telephone lines. Fortunately however, operations were not affected as we managed to re-allocate resources and operations went on as normal," he said.
