Racism, SA's history can be discussed in a sensitive way: NAPTOSA
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Teachers' union, NAPTOSA says the current school curriculum allows for robust conversations about the country's past.
NAPTOSA has been commenting after a Durban-based high school teacher allegedly went on a racist rant during one of her lessons.
Westville Girls' High School released a statement saying the teacher resigned this week. It said her alleged views on the country's political situation are not shared by the school.
NAPTOSA's Thirona Moodley feels discussions around the country's history must always be approached in a sensitive manner.
