R2K: 'Black lives do matter'
Updated | By Steve Bhengu

The organisation will picket in Umlazi, Pretoria and Cape Town today in solidarity with the victims of violence at the Glebelands Hostel, south of Durban.
Right2Know estimates that 64 people have been killed over the past 2 years, 13 people have been tortured and hundreds evicted illegally, despite interventions from the Public Protector.
The organisation's Busi Mtabani says it's a small community and with 64 people dead, no one has been convicted.
"What does that mean? Their justice system is delayed or in a way denied? We strongly believe that it does give legitimacy to the notion that black lives don't matter because if it was anyone else I'm sure something would have been done by now" she said.
