Buthelezi says a decision on who will succeed the King will be made public only after the family's mourning period is over.
He says the King has given the Zulu nation the go-ahead to resume ploughing their lands and planting from Friday.
King Zwelithini passed away earlier this month. He was laid to rest on Thursday.
