Pupils vow to continue with their protests at Verulam school
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Some pupils at Glenhaven Secondary School in Verulam, north of Durban say they will continue with their protests until the school's leadership is removed.

The school made headlines this week when pupils went on the rampage, apparently in opposition to fences set-up on the premises.
"Our protest is about the gates and fences that have been put up. There is also a shortage of water," she said.
The department says it is also probing allegations of racism.
Fences and gates appear to have been erected to cordon off different parts of the property. Pupils claim they are not allowed to leave the blocks where their classrooms are situated.
Education MEC Kwazi Mshengu is visiting the school this morning.
Three learners were arrested for public violence.

"Also, children are hungry during lunch, but no food is being provided."
