The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education says it's disturbed by another report of violence at a KZN school.
A former pupil died after a stabbing incident outside Umfolozi High last week.
The 21-year-old was allegedly involved in an altercation with a learner over a cell phone.
The pupil was taken in on a charge of murder.

KZN Education's spokesperson, Muzi Mahlambi says the department's launched its own investigation.
"We want to take this opportunity to reiterate our position and emphasize the assistance of parents in this regard because ourselves alone as the Department of Education we are unable to fight this scourge and eradicate it."
"So, we need parents to take care of what is it that learners bring to school," he says.
The 21-year-old suspect will be back in court on Monday.
