The ANC Youth League says law enforcement must move swiftly in investigating the nepotism allegations against Umgeni mayor Chris Pappas.

The group held a protest in the Midlands municipality on Thursday, calling for Pappas to resign.
It's been claimed the municipality gave excessive grants to a newly established tourism NPO owned by Pappas' partner.
ANC Youth League spokesperson Wesley Kgang joined the protest.
"The R100 000 that Pappas fought the officials to ensure that he gives to his boyfriend, Pappas must return it, but subsequent to the the public protector has been entrusted with the responsibility of the investigating the allegations."
Papas denied the allegations on East Coast Radio Breakfast just over a week ago.
He's added that the accusations are part of a smear campaign by the ANC after he was announced as the DA's premier candidate for KZN.
But Kgang claims there are receipts.
"It is not a smear campaign, we can mention the strategic inner people in the institution who can prove this beyond a responsible doubt for a sake of validation and their safety, but we do have evidence before us, to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt the allegation that we are levelling against him."
The march was moved to Thursday after Pappas was granted a court interdict to stop the protest from happening on Monday.
