Social workers protested outside the Pinetown Magistrate's Court on Monday where a policeman who is accused of killing two women is making his first appearance.
Officials called to the constable's home in Mandela Park in Botha’s Hill on Friday morning, found the victims' bodies on the floor.
The women had been shot.
Scores of social workers have descended on the court holding placards demanding no bail for the man who is based at Hillcrest police station.

Police watchdog IPID previously said that 11 empty cartridges, four bullet heads and adult videos were found at the scene.
Outside court, Acting Chief Director for the eThekwini Cluster of Social Development Rosemary Ntombela said they have been told that the officer was in a relationship with both women aged 18 and 24.
"What we want to see is justice to prevail in the case because the scourge of GBV is alarming."
Emotional family and friends of the woman have also descended onto the court.
