Probe after Durban man collapses, dies at outdoor gym
Police authorities are investigating after an elderly man died at an outdoor gym in Durban's Glenwood area yesterday.
It's understood the man had been training when he collapsed.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says paramedics raced to Bulwer Park in Helen Joseph Road at about 4pm.
"On arrival, paramedics found a man lying on the ground with no signs of life. Advance life support paramedics assessed the man and found him to have already passed away," Jamieson said.
The scene was then handed over to Umbilo SAPS for further investigation.
