Three killed in Isipingo wall collapse
Updated | By Natarah Nadesan
Investigations have been underway at the scene of a construction site in Isipingo, south of Durban, where a wall collapsed yesterday afternoon. Three men were killed in the collapse.
KZN EMS spokesperson, Robert Mckenzie says two other people were hurt on Isipingo Beach.
"It appears to have been a boundary wall that was surrounding the construction site that is the actual wall that collapsed. It doesn't appear to have been a wall from the building that was being constructed at the site.
"Tragically, three of the construction workers - all men - sustained fatal injuries at the time of the incident and were declared deceased at the scene. One person was critically injured and was treated by KZN EMS paramedics before being transported to hospital," Mckenzie said.
