Principal's murder: Case postponed for bail bid
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
The case of three suspects linked to the murder of a Chatsworth school principal has been postponed for a week for a formal bail application.
Gona Pillay was murdered last week Wednesday when a group of men arrived at their Silverglen home - pretending to be interested in buying the house which has been on sale.
The 63-year-old Pillay and her husband, Logie were then attacked with knives. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The suspects fled with the couple's car and some household items.
Among the suspects who're in custody is a 24-year-old intern estate agent at Pam Golding Properties.

Brandon Pillay of the Bayview Community Policing Forum says community members were at court in their numbers today.
"The court was full. Emotions were running high - people were sad and emotional. More so, when they saw the suspects on the dock - they are all young people. There's a sense of sadness in the community," he says.
Gona Pillay's funeral was held on Sunday, with a memorial service set for later this week.
