He got down to business in Pretoria this morning, where he addressed representatives from 44 districts and municipalities at the first meeting of the President's Coordinating Council.

eThekwini Mayor, Mxolisi Kaunda who attended the meeting said Ramaphosa says there's an urgent need for a plan to deal with current challenges.
"Unless we work smarter, all our best-laid plans to accelerate service delivery, grow our economy and create employment on a large scale will amount to naught. Many of the challenges we face are our own making and the inevitable outcome of poor planning," he said.
