Plans by Treasury to slash the public service wage bill haven't gone down well with COSATU.

During his Budget Speech in Parliament this week, the Finance Minister announced plans to tighten government spending, including a major cut to public sector wages.
His proposal is to reduce them by 160 billion rands over the next three years.
But the plan's angered unions. COSATU's Sizwe Pamla says currently, there's nothing irregular about public sector wages as per agreements.
