Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The search continued on Friday for the suspects behind a cash-in-transit heist in Port Edward.
Police say the cash van was driving along the N2 near the Fisherman's Drive off-ramp on Thursday when it came under attack.
Six gunmen who were travelling in another vehicle approached the van and began firing shots.

"When the cash truck finally came to a stand-still, the driver was shot on the leg and his crew was allegedly forced out of the vehicle before the suspects blew up the cash truck," says KZN police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda.
"The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money."
