Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
KwaZulu-Natal police have launched a manhunt for three armed robbers who hit a jewellery store at the Galleria mall in Amanzimtoti, south of Durban.
The police's Thembeka Mbele says the gang stormed the NWJ shop inside the mall yesterday.
"Employees were at the business premises in Amanzimtoti in Galleria - where they were allegedly accosted by three unknown armed males who robbed them of jewellery and fled. Eventually, a case of robbery was opened at Amanzimtoti police station for further investigation."
In a statement, management at the mall says no one was hurt during the robbery.
