Police searching for Durban jewellery heist suspects

Police are yet to make an arrest after a gang of four suspects robbed a jewellery store in Durban and fled the scene.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the suspects broke into a jewellery store on Stamford Hill Road.
She says there was one person, thought to be an employee, at the time in the store at the time.

Gwala says a case of business robbery has been opened by Durban Central police.
"They broke the glass with a hammer and took about ten trays of rings and earrings and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. We are appealing to anyone who might have information about the suspects to contact the Durban Central police or our crimestop number. No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing," she said.
