Police recover two bodies in KZN river

The bodies of two drowning victims have been retrieved from the Nyalazi River in KwaMsane.
It's believed three people got into difficulty in the water while trying to cross the river in the northern KZN yesterday.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says one of them eventually managed to get to the other side and tried to save his friends but his efforts were in vain.

Gwala says the victims are aged 16 and 27.
Both bodies were recovered this morning by a police officer from Empangeni Search and Rescue.
An inquest docket has been opened for investigation.
