Police probe murder of man found near Phoenix
An investigation has been launched after a man was found shot dead on a footpath near Phoenix in Durban.
KZN police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says a passerby came across the body in Redfern near the M25 on Saturday night.

She says the victim was shot in the head.
"Search and rescue teams were called out to the scene where the body of an unknown man was recovered. A case of murder has been opened for further investigation," she says.
