Police investigate culpable homicide case after toddler run over in Pretoria

Police in Pretoria are investigating a case of culpable homicide after the tragic death of a toddler in the suburb of Kameeldrift.
The 18-month-old boy was run over by a bakkie in the driveway of a home late yesterday afternoon.
Paramedics say the child had suffered severe injuries and passed away on the scene.

The police's Mavela Masondo says the driver's believed to be a tenant at a block of rooms on the premises.
"It is alleged that the driver of a Ford Ranger bakkie was entering the premises when he ran over the child," he says.
