Updated | By Shaun Ryan
KwaZulu-Natal police have uncovered a hydroponics drug lab at a Westville home.
Police say officers had been conducting an intelligence driven operation when they swooped on a home in Meerut Road at about 6am this morning.
Spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says three rooms in the home had been set up as hydroponic dagga labs. He says two people, aged 32 and 41, have been arrested.
"This morning, our police officers received information about a drug lab in the Westville area. They went to the home and found about 50 dagga plants. It is hydroponic dagga that was found. Police officers are still at the scene right now," Zwane said.
