PMB woman injured as car crashes into wall

A woman who crashed her vehicle into a wall in Edendale, Pietermaritzburg - has been treated on scene by local medics and taken to hospital.
Reports from the scene suggest the woman lost control of her vehicle, shortly before 8am this morning before colliding into a wall.
Two passengers, both children, were unharmed in the crash.
Netcare911's Shawn Herbst said the incident occurred on the corners of S1 and S2.
"Shortly before 8am, on Wednesday morning, Netcare911 responded to reports of a collision on an unnamed road in Edendale in Pietermaritzburg. Fortunately, the children sustained no injuries.
"The mother however sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital for further assessment. All necessary authorities are on scene to investigate," he said.
