The Municipality's Thobeka Mafumbatha says a team from Umgeni Water's working at Howick West Reservoir.

"It will affect water supply to Groenkloof which feeds Vulindlela, Swartkops Reservoir which feeds Sweetwaters area and Blackridge Reservoir that feeds Blackridge and parts of Prestbury.

"We appeal to our residents to remain patient and to use water sparingly. We also encourage our residents to report any illegal connections and acts of vandalism."
