PinkDrive in desperate need of more Covid vaccinators
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
The PinkDrive says it's in desperate need of trained nurses to help with the administering of Covid-19 vaccines.

The non-profit organisation says this will help get more jabs into arms.
The PinkDrive, which normally works around cancer awareness, has rolled up its sleeves to help deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
It says it has so far vaccinated over 31 000 people in Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal since last month.

The organisation's chief executive and founder, Noelene Kotschan says, "firstly, we need guaranteed funds."
"Simultaneously, we want to create a database of unemployed medical staff. They then get trained online to do vaccinations and become certified vaccinators.
"In the event that they are not trained as yet, the sooner that they can get trained. The sooner we can deploy them."
