Pinetown worker critically injured in bandsaw incident

A Pinetown workshop employee, who suffered critical injuries in an industrial accident, is fighting for his life in hospital.

He was operating a bandsaw when it snapped, leaving him with a deep laceration across his face.

Netcare 911 medics say he suffered serious facial trauma, with injuries to his eyes and head.
They transported him from work on JB McIntosh Drive to the hospital late on Tuesday afternoon.
