Pinetown teenager impaled by tree branch

A teenager is in hospital after he was impaled by a tree branch in Pinetown.

ER24's Russel Meiring says paramedics were called to Stapleton Road this morning where the incident occurred.

Meiring says the 17-year-old boy was injured in the face and was in a serious but stable condition."When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found a teacher standing alongside the 17-year-old boy. It's understood the boy had been walking when he tripped and fell over, landing on the branch," said Meiring.
