PICS: Two rescued after boat capsizes in Ballito
Two people have been rescued after the boat they were in capsized in Salmon Bay in Ballito.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Marc Lagane says they were called out to the area on Thursday morning.
Two people fell into the water.
"On arrival of paramedics, it was established that two persons had been on board their boat when the craft was capsized, casting them into the water.
"The duo found themselves in distress out towards back-line. Surfers who were in the water rushed to their aide and assisted the couple to shore. Paramedics rendered medical care as the ski-boat club recovered the vessel."
