PICS: Drugs worth R154 million seized at luxury Shaka's Rock estate

Hawks officials are trying to locate the owner of a property in Shaka's Rock - the scene of a massive drug bust.

Narcotics with an estimated street value of R154 million were seized.
Hawks spokesperson, Simphiwe Mhlongo says officers from the Crime Fighting unit and Umhlali police searched the residence on the property in the Simbithi Eco Estate on Tuesday night.

He says no arrests have been made, but the suspect is known.
"According to what we have now, from the experts dealing with drugs they are saying mandrax powder as well as heroine capsules and the empty capsules.
"Mandrax tablet and heroine powder was found hence the street value is more than R154 million."
