Hawks probe Hluhluwe drug haul destination
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Hawks officials say a key question in their probe - into that massive drug bust on the north coast - is where were the drugs being taken?

Over 300 kgs of heroin were seized and three people arrested in Hluhluwe this week.
A trucker and two passengers - all in their 50s - drove to KwaZulu-Natal, from Mozambique.

Hawk spokesperson, Simphiwe Mhlongo, says they confiscated 250 packets of the drugs - with a street value of more than R80 million.
The suspects made a brief appearance in the Hluhluwe Magistrate's Court.
"Their case was postponed to 17 September for further investigation such as verification of their citizenship.
"At this stage, the members are still busy with the investigation because the drugs were destined to somewhere, so it is part of our investigation. We cannot rule out the possibility of more arrests."
