PHOTOS: Trucks block N3 at Van Reenen's Pass
The N3 at Van Reenans Pass is a no-go area for motorists this morning.
The N3 Toll Concession says truckers have parked their vehicles off on both sides of the carriageway, preventing access to motorists.
The concession's Con Roux has urged those heading to the area to delay their trips or use alternative routes, including the R74 and the N11.
"The details are sketchy at the moment because of the backlog of patrol vehicles and law enforcement authorities being unable to reach the exact scene. The truck drivers have blockaded the N3 in the Van Reenan area - that's affecting traffic in both directions," he said.
