Search and rescue teams are continuing their search for a teen who went missing while swimming at Blythedale beach on KwaZulu-Natal's north coast yesterday.

The 16-year-old boy was swept out to sea after getting into difficulty in the water. An off-duty police officer who saw the incident unfold alerted lifeguards.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst is hopeful they will be able to conduct their search for as long as possible.
Weather conditions are expected to change as a cold front approaches the province.
