LISTEN: Another cold front to hit KZN - extremely cold weather expected

Another cold front is expected to begin sweeping across the province later this afternoon.

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning, saying cold conditions and snowfall in the southern and central parts of the Drakensberg can be expected.

Forecasters are also predicting heavy rainfall and flash flooding in parts of KwaZulu-Natal tomorrow and Thursday.

 The weather service's Wisani Gumede says temperatures will begin dropping tomorrow.


The weather service has issued a warning for heavy rainfall along the coast (south of Richards Bay) tomorrow.

It says disruptive snowfall is also expected over the high-lying areas of south western KwaZulu-Natal.
