The South Africa Weather Service says parts of the province might get some snow overnight.
Eskom spokesperson - Khulu Phasiwe says they are ready for any eventuality.

“We will obviously send out our teams there to go and help us, in terms of making sure we don’t have prolonged outages because of the snow breaking down some of our transmission lines,” Phasiwe says.

He says they have zoned in on parts of the Eastern Cape and the border of KZN and the Free State.

“We do have heavy snowfalls in those areas and we are working very hard to ensure that we reconnect the power supply as soon as possible,” Phasiwe says.
