The man arrested in connection with the murders and who police say is known to the family is due to make his first appearance in court today.

"A forty-five-year-old man is due to appear today in the Verulam Magistrate's Court after he was charged with three counts of murder. He was linked to the killing of three women that were found in the house in the Phoenix area on Friday," Zwane said.
