Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A shaken shopper has recounted the moments she had to dash to safety as armed robbers stormed a supermarket at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Umhlanga.
Police say a gang held up staff at the shop on Wednesday evening and took an undisclosed amount of money.
They fled in getaways cars.
No one was physically harmed during the robbery.
