Pedestrian hurt in multi-vehicle Ballito crash

A man is receiving treatment in hospital following a
multi-vehicle crash on the M4 near Ballito on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast.

Emergency services say the 22-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle just before 4.30pm this afternoon.

Three other vehicles then collided into each at the scene.

The pedestrian was treated on the side of the road by paramedics, who then rushed him to hospital for further care.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
