Over 14 000 new Covid-19 cases recorded in SA

Coronavirus cases in South Africa have hit a record daily high.
Fourteen thousand and forty-six new infections have been confirmed in the country, in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cases confirmed so far to more than 954 000.
Four hundred and eleven more people have lost their lives - 101 in the Eastern Cape and 90 in KwaZulu-Natal.
And Health Minister Zweli Mkhize has sounded the alarm again.

He says with the exception of the Eastern Cape -- KZN, the Western Cape and Gauteng continue to report large increases in new infections and those comprise 81% of fresh cases today.
He says they're going to have to evaluate the situation in these provinces, identity hotspots and make recommendations on measures that would need to be imposed.
